Q: Why is PMax QCAS built on an Excel-Html hybrid?

A: We combine the universal familiarity of Excel with power of html interface. This allows your team to work in an interface they already know, while the "Engine" (Photo processing, Magnification, and Export logic) remains locked and protected from "formula drift" or user error.

Q: How does this differ from a standard Macro-enabled workbook?

A: Standard workbooks are "open" and fragile. PMax QCAS is hardened. The core logic is compiled into machine code (DLL), making it impossible for users to view or alter the intellectual property. It bypasses the common security risks of traditional VBA while maintaining high-speed execution.

Q: Does this require cloud connectivity?

A: No. Unlike SaaS platforms that fail in tunnels, remote sites, or basements, PMax QCAS is Offline-First. You can capture and finalise 120+ photos without a single bar of signal. Sync to your Content/Record Manager happens only when you are back in range.

Q: Is it compatible with our existing IT environment?

A: Yes. It runs natively within Microsoft 365 (Desktop). There are no new databases to maintain, no SQL servers to configure, and no complex browser-compatibility issues. It’s the lowest-friction way to deploy Enterprise Governance across a diverse workforce.

Q: How does it handle data integrity and version control?

A: Once a report is "Locked," the content is cryptographically protected within the sheet.  

The Native Excel Versioning combined with our Audit Lock  ensures that every report is a defensible record that stands up to legal and insurance scrutiny.
